Last Updated: April 10, 2025

SoundWave is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

OUR COMMITMENT

We strive to ensure that our website conforms to Level AA of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA, and AAA). We've chosen Level AA as our target.

MEASURES TAKEN

We have taken the following measures to ensure accessibility:

  • Color and Contrast: We use sufficient color contrast for text content.

  • Text Resizing: Our website allows text to be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.

  • Keyboard Navigation: All functions are accessible using a keyboard.

  • Consistent Navigation: We maintain a consistent navigation structure throughout the website.

  • Alternative Text: We provide alternative text for all non-decorative images.

  • Form Labels: All form fields have appropriate labels.

  • ARIA Landmarks: We use ARIA landmarks to identify regions of the page.

  • Focus Indicators: Visual focus indicators for keyboard navigation are clearly visible.

ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY COMPATIBILITY

Our website is designed to be compatible with assistive technologies and the browsers and tools typically used by people with disabilities, including but not limited to:

  • Screen readers (like JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack)

  • Speech recognition software

  • Screen magnification software

  • Alternative keyboards and input devices
